Choose-your-own-adventure energy balls! ⁣

A special recipe, created for Olive’s kindergarten class, and a fun way to say ‘buh-bye’ to online learning and ‘hello’ to healthy snacks for the lunch box next week!⁣

‘Real School’ is back on...packed lunches here we come! 🙌🏼🚌 🍎 
⁣
1 small ripe banana, mashed (or 1-2 tbsp honey)
1/2 cup any nut or seed butter*⁣
1 1/4 cup rolled oats ⁣
1 tsp cinnamon⁣
Good pinch sea salt ⁣
2 tbsp chia seeds (or any small seed)⁣
1/4 cup chopped dried fruit or raisins ⁣
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips ⁣
⁣
Stir everything together. Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. Refrigerate to set and soften, about 30min.  Pop one in! #mmm Store in container, fridge or freezer. ⁣

*we reminded the kiddos and parents during this recipe demo NOT to use peanut butter or other nut butters for school snacks, only seed butter like sunflower or tahini.  #nutfree
